Guillaume graduated in 2005 from the University of Geneva Law School, after having spent a year at the University of Zurich Law School. After working as an associate for Lenz & Staehelin in Geneva, Guillaume graduated from Columbia University, New York (LL.M. 2011). He then joined Schellenberg Wittmer as an associate. He joined Jacquemoud Stanislas as a partner on January 2021 and graduated in 2022 from the Institut d'études Immobilières (Master degree) in Geneva (Prix La Foncière).
Guillaume was Mayor of Geneva in 2016-2017.
Guillaume was elected as a member of the Swiss National Council (Swiss Parliament) from January 2013 to December 2019. He has been a member of the Legal Affairs as well as Economic and Taxation Committees. In November 2012, Guillaume was elected at the City of Geneva's government. He was in charge of the Department for Environment and Security Affairs until June 2020. Guillaume has been recognized as Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2015.
Guillaume's main areas of practice include Real Estate, Infrastructure and Construction Law, Government and Regulatory Affairs as well as Private Clients.
He is a member of the Geneva Bar Association.

Jacquemoud Stanislas represented the PE fund and the acquisition vehicle in connection with all legal aspects of the transaction, including the debt financing and the set-up of the fund.
Sale of Qcenter SA and its real estate project "QG" developed for QoQa
Jacquemoud Stanislas acted as counsel to SR Fund I and Swissroc Investments SA on the sale of Qcenter SA and its real estate project "QG" developed for QoQA. The team was led by Guillaume Barazzone (Real Estate, Partner) and further included Philippe Jacquemoud (Corporate/M&A, Partner) and Romain Chaton (Trainee).
SR Fund I, a fund initiated and managed by Swissroc Investment SA and comprising a handful of local entrepreneurs, sold the whole outstanding share capital of QCenter SA to a private family office, advised by RMG The Risk Management Group (Suisse) SA.
QCenter SA owns and operates a real estate property in Bussigny where it is developing the "QG" project, a coworking eco-friendly space imagined by QoQa Services SA. QoQa Services SA is a leading Swiss innovative daily sales website proposing attractive offers to its customers.
Jacquemoud Stanislas acted as counsel to the seller in connection with the sale of one of the last landmark plot located in the center of Geneva that is not included in a so-called “zone de développement”.
